2016 has been a great year for the Ulverstone Judo Club, but 2017 will prove to be a bigger year for the club as it hosts the Judo competition for the Masters Games!
What is the Masters Games? It is a week of sporting competition for people over the age of 30 to have a go at different sports. The Masters Games organisers are expecting over 6,000 participants will compete in over 40 different sports.
Dates: Competition: Saturday 21 October – Sunday 22 October
Times: Saturday 21 Oct: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday 22 Oct, Monday 23 Oct: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Judo demonstration for Today Show
Wednesday the 5th of April the Today Show did a story on the upcoming Masters Games and asked the club to put on a display of Judo. It was broadcasted to TV at 7:20am that morning.
The demonstration was held at Pier 1 in Ulverstone. The Master Games will be held on the North West Coast 21-28 October 2017.
